bansheefreak89 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Hey toybox me Jd bob and a few others are headin up the 21-23 I wish we coulda made this weekend but everyones schedule wasn't working out. If you guys aren't doing anything next weekend you should head up. Nothing like campin with the havoc crew and watching jeremy get busted by flashlight cops again Quote
toytech Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 we just got home from silverlake sand dunes, had a blast even though I couldn't do the hill climb or drag racing, I had the domes cut for the 4mill crank and got rid of the stroker plate and now my motor lays down on the top end it was good with the plate in it, the plugs looked lean so I went up in jet size 4 times and it helped but still not good, maybe its time to get it ported for the 4 miil? Why did you take the plate out? Issues with it sealing? I would use whatever set-up it took to get the port timings right, have you checked those? I had a great time both saturday and sunday. Rick I have not checked the port timing, but I was told by several people that having the domes cut and getting rid of the spacer plate was the best becuase it put the ports where they should be. looks like I need to do some homework Quote
