I have used nothing but Wisecos in EVERY ATV, dirt bike, jet ski, and even a couple of V8 engines I have worked on. Never had a problem with them, but somebody on here is stirring things up by saying something to the effect of Wiseco is pulling a Ricky Stator on us and going to overseas manufacturing.

umm, why does the poll include vitos and namura, but not wsm......i think that wsm is generally the biggest weisco competitor, well over the other brands.......i "penciled in" wsm, lol

WSM gets my vote aswell! Wiseco is my 2nd choice if I can't get a WSM for the application.

Wiseco hands down I've used them in several builds with not a single problem.somebody said they for some wisecos recently and they seem heavier then they used to be,wiseco changed some piston to give the skirt more strength I saw the new piston rebuilding my 250R a few years back when I looked under on the skirt although older style pistons are still out there left over

wiseco's are my choice when it comes to small motors.

a nice set of custom JE's would be awesome haha.

yeh a good piston is pretty important but your tune keep everything together, a good tune will make a cheap cast piston last. unless your making serious power and break away forced come into it.

most piston failures are from a lean out, bad tune, foreign material, excessive heat or lack of lubrication.

I've been keeping my eye on that as well...

I gotta get a new set of slugs for my motor this year, hopefully it's not the case.

With the state of the economy, it wouldn't surprise me although I would be dissapointed.
