gearing for a 421

any ideas for gearing on a 421, 35mm carbs with a 6 over swinger and 12 paddle extremes

depends on the sand and type of riding.

I ran 13/42 and thought it was great, then switched back to 14/41 and it made a world of difference, a ton more pull on top.

Slightly lightened with 200 pound rider and 22inch paddles I ran 14/42

I havent played with my gearing a whole lot but im bout 220lbs with a +10 swinger 22/11/8/ 12 paddle haulers with 14/44 gearing, seems to come outta the hole hard unless its really really dry sand.

On my 421 I have a +4 swinger, 240#'s, 21x12x8 9P extremes and 14/44.

I was using 14/40 and 15/42 on my 421 cub on alky with a +12 swinger and me being 220lbs with 13 extremes.

I ride silver lake dunes.

im 250#'s and have a 421 with 39 gas carbs with a +8 swinger and 14 paddle haulers i run a 14 / 45

Also depends on how long and steep where your racing is....I race on on a very long very steep hill and I run a 14/44 : )
