ROBK Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Hi guys, I'm looking to get another Banshee but I want to know what would be the best year for a banshee I had a 99 banshee in the past an it was great, is there more desired year? also I want to know what would be the best set up to go with this time around, I mainly do trail riding and as always like to show up other quads when drag racing. I know its two different riding types but I guess i'm looking for a happy medium. budget for motor built $2000.00 I live in Toronto Thanks again Rob Quote

I would go with a 4mil crank with stock cylinders ported to match. Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 yup like said above, and skip the spacer plate with the 4 mill and have the head cut and cylinders ported to match. If ya got cash and like to be fancy get a noss head! Quote

esterelbanshee Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Winning a drag race is all about the launch. If you react better and hook well enough to get a jump, then it will take a much faster bike to come around you. Good tires are a big part of the recipe. Quote

I don't mind sending the motor out but also don't want to get killed in shipping Quote
