georgie Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 I going to be putting a 421 cub motor in a banshee with a +6 swing arm. Is the swing arm long enough for this motor? I'm going to be drag racing this thing on asphalt. Thanks. Quote
BSHEE400 Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 i'm gonna say yes but i guess you'll just have to test it and decide for yourself Quote
broncbob Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 I have a friend that rides a 421 cub on sand, and with a +8 arm he can still pull the front end up dragging up Sand Mountain UT. He has to try to get it up, but it would come up just about with out fail with a +6 arm. This is on sand, so your mileage may vary. Quote
drap660 Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 For asphault yes. I run a +4 and have no issues keeping the front end down Quote
4strokekilla1987 Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 run a +4 you wont regret it Quote
AlkyGirl Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 +8 on my 421 but thats in sand....anything smaller than that I cant keep the front down Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 im saying +6. its all gonna depend on your gearing and how you get off the line, but id say youre gonna hook pretty well and i think with a +4 its gonna be hard to keep the front down. Quote
