So i should be picking up my new carbs on thursday night and i want to install them on saturday....

They are 28 PWKs and im not sure exactly how the jetting works on them. Ive jetted a few mikunis but these seem very different... No idea where to start, especially since they arent even in front of me.

I run the bike in NY at anywhere from sea level to up around 750ft above...

I run it in the winter (around 30 degrees) but mostly in the summer

It has FMF fattys and a stock airbox. with a K&N filter (with the lid)

So anybody have any ideas for jets? Turns on the air screw?

After writing this i guess im pretty lost.. hope its simpler than im making it lol.

Thanks in advance for the help

If you research this you will find that most guys will recommend about a 50 pilot and maybe a 160 main or so. I just installed some 28's and ended up with 180 mains. It's just a hair rich and my pugs are a light chocolate color. Perfect for me. If I were you I would start with 50 pilots, 170-175 mains, drop the clip on the needles 2 notches from the bottom, air screws 1 1/2 turns out and go from there.

with a non-ported bike, just pipes and all the normal bolts on's you will probably end up around a 48 pilot and 152-155 mains with the cold weather.

Always start fat and work your way down.

I got some 30oko's. Same thing? I'ma odd ball. I think i have a 42 pilot in mine. Tried a 48-50 pilot like so many recommended and it was horrible off idle.

I ended up buying 152-170 mains and many pilots to get my bike right. It really sucks when you find out you need a different jet and gotta wait a few days for it to come in since your local bike shop doesnt carry any :(
