wvbansheeboy Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 gonna run the black plastics that came on it just changing the stickers out how do you keep the paint from flating and scratching easily? ive been wantin to paint mine again. Quote
btbrsio Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 ive always had good luck with laying down 3 to 4 coats of clear on the paint to keep it shinny. right now im tryin to decide the color of the motor what do you guys think black or red like the frame, i have a bunch of polished stuff for the motor im just not sure what color to use. wannashee20 Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 wow, color looks great! good choice with the black plastics with it! i would say go with a mix of both colors on the other parts because that should create some balance between the two so neither color will overpower the other. Quote
btbrsio Posted January 8, 2010 Author Report Posted January 8, 2010 i think im gonna go with the black on the motor. i have painted the grill shell to match the frame so i think with the motor back it will even it out heres a sneek peek with the rear fenders just sitting on it. waiting to get parts for the motor and rear brakes an shees done.
