Sup guys, couldnt find a new user section. so guess this is it?

Anyways im chance, i just picked up my first banshee. finally after many years of wanting one.

its a 2003 in very good shape for the most part. Came with both dirt and sand tires, toomy pipes, clean title, and best of all, was the price! only $1,800 BUCKS!!

i dont know what prices are in your end of the world, but in mine, this bike blue books for 3 grand, and you find them all over for 2400-3000. So i scored one hell of a deal if you ask me!! The only two downsides i could find were, the plastic is a little stressed out im some areas, like when you bend it to far and it changes colors? you'll see what i mean in the picture. and theres a tiny bit of surface rust starting on the pipes. but to me thats not a big deal. specially with my plans ;)

anyways, i cant keep anything stock. I run my own business and do custom powder coating, annodizing, and polyurethane coating (truck spray in bedliners). So it wont be long and ill be tearing it apart and prettying it up. So some cool pictures to come on that! But for now, the only picture i have crusin down the freeway in the back of my buddys truck on the way home :)

nice bike man! looks/sounds like a good buy to me! one thing to help with the stress marks is takin a heat gun to the plastic.

oh and, welcom to BHQ!

Hey im new here (just signed up tonight) and this post is probably in the wrong place but here goes.

btw my name is cameron

I am going to pick up my first banshee on tuesday.

I have always rode a 91' cr250 (had for about 3 years) and I figured that it was time for somethin new. Found a 97 banshee on craigslist that this guy wanted to get rid of so I decided to see if he wanted to trade. Only one catch: his bike wont start.

So I looked at the bike today (get pics up soon) and it looks in fairly good shape. He is only able to start it by pouring gas in the back of the carb. He said that he would throw in an extra set of carbs with the quad and a clymer repair manual. I really want to keep this quad on the cheap side so were should I start to get this quad running? (guy said that its not the stock carbs. quad has been bored .70 over and is on a completely fresh top end) Like I said im picking it up on tuesday and will try to get more posted.
