It also comes with a carbon fiber coolant bottle bracket and upp carb boots to fit 35mm carbs. They will also work with stock carbs but you need the stock intake boots off your air box. The mounting bracket loosens so you can slide the tubes back to remove carbs without removing the filters and tubes. Real sick looking parts. $85 shipped, they are located in northern Wisconsin. Never seen anything like this. i am not shure what the advantages are but it makes it real handy to work on the carbs because they slide back in the mounts out of the way. i got them about a year ago and never used them, i mounted them never ran it, and took them right off because i got a nitrous kit and the tank mounted right in the way of them. i will try to do some research on the advantages. An advantage is that it will produce a slightly less turbulent air intake than if you bolt the filters straight onto your carbs. This (according to Toomey Racing) should produce a more efficient airflow and it will prevent fuel from getting blown out the intake and into the filters. This setup is similar to their 2 into 1 filter kit with the long tubes. I really like that idea because of that but I didn't like Toomey's filter. Just a bit of info you could use to help push this thing. Quote

nitrocircus Posted October 24, 2009 Author Report Posted October 24, 2009 What kind of mounting system is used to fasten tubes to the bike? it mounts to the subframe using existing holes, it did not come with bolts, but i have a bunch of stainless bolts, i will look through them and see if i have any that will fit, if i do they will be included in the sale. the coolant bottle uses the rear air box mounts and bolts.
