Well i just put in a new set of tusk clutches and HD springs. I keep having to adjust he clutch cabel becasue it seems like it is stretching. i tried 2 different ones then went out and bought a brand new one and the same thing keep happening. any ideas on what can cause this. I can ride for a few hours then i have to adjust it again. I also had to put 3 washer behind the clutch cabel to make it fit, and it was new out of the pkg. IM getting kinda pissed lol. any help would be awsome.

the cable isnt stretching that much. something is going on with your clutch adjustment either at the lever or at the adjustment on the pressure plate.

this only happens after extended periods of riding?

Ya it only happens when riding for extended peroids. I have a quick adjust lever that hs alen screws in it so i doubt its at the lever. I did notice when i put the clutches in that one part is flat on the plates. is their a specific way they have to line up or can they just go in any way. the clutch seem to be working great other then the cabel issue. IDK now im confused.

I've had the same thing when i put a brand new clutch in there.

When the engine is off, and you pull the clutch a couple of times, does is happen again?

If so, it might be the metal piece in the bottom that has bent.

I was realy getting pissed when it happened to me, then i checked the bottom end of the cable

and found the metal piece that keeps the cable in place was bent. Have you checked that out yet?

Hope this helps
