KFX450 vs. banshee

guy i know wants to race just for fun. not saying i have doubts but with the banshee in my sig(the one thats put together) should i be able to take a 08 fi kfx450 with programer and pro curcit pipe? lol sounds dumb for me askin i know but just seeing what people say.

 

 

my mods are. toomey t6s,vf3,shaved head,k&n pods,13:41 gearing with 22" tires,jetting is perfect,timing to +5,drag/play very aggresive porting.

unless you are racing him on such a long stretch that urs will pop before the finish then you should get him but idk there are alot of factors that come into play... just race him and find out!

however I will give some insite on this one.

I had a KFX-450 for about 2 months, slowest piece of shit made. period.

I don't know who ported your stuff, but if the porting is up to par, you should hand him his ass easily if you don't have issues hooking up.

 

KFX wins if you weren't ported.

my dad has a trx 450 piped and jetted i race him down the street and at the desert all the time i usually win by a couple bike lengths.

I have raced a buddy a couple times and he gets a bike or two jump out of the hole. Unless you have a lot of room there is no catching back up. My bike has no port work tho. I like to look at it this way its a pretty close race and he has a lot more money invested.

got ya. sorry for posting and asking if its that big of a deal.Il just race him tom and see how it goes. ive done plenty of launching practice and i hope il get him out of the hole and stay there. will report back with the results.

i have basically the same stuff as you (gearing pipes 22s reeds shaved head) but i dont have the timing or the port and i can take a piped kfx450 (kawasucky 4shitty haha) but idk if the one i raced had a programmer... i think you can take it

As said, a lot of what iffs in the thread.

That being said...if the rider weights are somewhat close, your porting is up to par, and you get a decent launch, it should be no problems.

 

This race will be won out of the hole...

your gonna smoke it no doubt in my mind. im running my shee fmf sst pipes, vf2s, lid off k&n pro flow adapter, .060 over, and clutch basket, 15/41 gearing. i can beat my buddies rappy 700 with a lrd exhaust all day and he smokes his buddys ltr450.

shit i smoked one and don't have any porting, hardly any mods at all.their slow
