Michael66 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 I bought a banshee a month or so ago torn completely apart and rebuilt it. This is my first banshee or any twin 2 stroke for that matter. It fired off the first kick and was running fine on the right cylinder and the left wasn't running. It needed a new throttle cable so i put one on and figured out i had the wrong carb cap and needle assembly on the wrong carb. So i swapped it and the cable and fired it back up and now the left cylinder runs and not the right. If i pull the choke on the left carb the right cylinder starts running. If i let off the choke the left cylinder starts leaking fuel out of the vent on the bottom of the bowl. Please help so i don't have to go to a dealership!! It is like the one with that cap starts hogging all the fuel. Quote

Do yourself a favor and learn it. First things first, do a leakdown test. Let us know the results, then we will go to the next step. Oh, and list us the motor components and specs. Eric Quote
Michael66 Posted August 27, 2009 Author Report Posted August 27, 2009 If the new cars don't fix it I will have to. The guy I bought it from bought a bunch of parts a guy had off of several bikes. I'm thinking these carbs were somebody junk. They have leaked gas from day 1. If this fixes me I will let you know havoc Quote
