stroking Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 This thing is pissing me off,the ball keeps getting welded to the rod....wicked atv said they have a fix for it,but someone told me they don't work either........anyone got a link to some kind of bearing kit or something that will solve this problem. i've got 3 banshees in the shop that all have problems with it the one with the lockup is the worst one. and does a lockup need special springs to work or can the springs from any clutch kit work ? zephyrdog Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Vito's has the pancake bearing for $34.99. Cheapest I found when I was looking. Quote
Stomp77 Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 If you pull in the clutch and coast you WILL weld the pushrod to the bearing. Ask me how I know :geek: Just try to keep from pulling in the clutch and Coasting, downshift and stay on the gear instead. It helps a lot.... Just my .02 Quote
billy d Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 vitos maybe a little cheaper...but the one jeff sells has the allen head in the center...much easier to adjust...and hes a sponser what the hell is wrong with you...LOL Quote
_Hex* Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 all you have to do is set the clutch lever to about half adjustment, then adjust the center screw on the pressure plate then screw down two springs opposing each other and make sure you have about 3/4 inch of play in the perch Quote
ny98banshee350 Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 just buy the 1 from jeff at fast.. i welded mine within like 3 rides, got the 1 from jeff and have been beatin on mine and its seems 2 hold up Quote

Bansh-eman Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 it usually get so stiff you cant squeeze it. The Cascade pancake is actually made by Packard. The allen head is the way to go. Quote
