Post Rebuild Issue

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

1999 Banshee

Ported cylinders

35 mm kehin carbs w/ 162 mains

New Reeds

Pro Circuit Pipes

Cool Head

Pro Design Intakes

New Top End - 3 over.

Bike is in Las Vegas ran good for 2 years, was just rebuilt. went through about a half tank of fuel for break in, but bike bogs and wont "clean out" and get the RPM's up.

- New plugs

- Tried rejetting (leaner) no change, so went back to the 162's

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

From what I know the only thing done on the rebuild was the top end. However, the guy said the top end went because of an air leak from the boost bottle, he removed it and capped the intakes.

00tbanshee - what do you mean by pickup gap? and what should the gap be?

tommy346 - no, not smoking bad.

He capped in intakes with what? Crossover tubes are a dime a dozen around here you should get one or get a new intake without a crossover. I wouldn't trust them to be plugged.
