Hi guys first post,

I needed some help coming up with a fair price range for my banshee. I am unable to come up with a price yet because I never thought Id be selling my bike and am a little unprepared. It started off as a stock 2000 banshee. I have now put 30k+ into the bike including the cost of buying the bike. I replaced the stock motor with Trinity's 421cc cheetah/Power Valve 4mm stroker motor that has only just been broken in. It has brand new trinity pipes/silencers. It is basically show quality although that is not what it was built for. Every loose piece/bolt/bracket/etc has either been powder coated midnight blue or has been chromed. The frame has been powder coated midnight blue as well. It has custom paint that makes it white w/ a blue pearl and all plastics are painted this way. It has a custom made seat that matches the color theme (white/blue). Really there is not a stock part left other than the frame. Here is a list(not complete) of what else it has on it:

Lonestar +2 +1 Arms chrome

Lonestar Stock length swingarm chrome

Lonestar axle chrome

Lonestar wheel and sprocket hubs that have all been powder coated midnight blue

All calipers/brake components are chrome w/braided lines

New gas cap chromed

Custom brake handle chrome

Custom case made from single block of aluminum

Roll Design Pegs

Beadlocks that have the ring powder coated midnight blue

Elka zero preload shocks front and rear w/ reservoir.

Steering Stabilizer chromed

Custom brackets built on frame w/ very nice bright hid looking lights

Custom lights/handlebar clamp chrome

Brand New aftermarket radiator

I honestly cant remember everything but if it is replaceable it has been and then prob chromed or powder coated from there. I have receipts for pretty much everything. Keep in mind this bike is basically in brand new condition, I rebuilt it, broke in the motor, and its been stuck in a garage ever since. I know if I sell this bike I will not get close to what I put into it, but I was hoping you guys could possibly help me come up w/ a fair price range to start thinking about. I will prob post pics here when I get back to my camera or will send them privately if you want to see them.

Thanks!

Na I think I would just hold on to it for that price. I mean what does 5500 even buy you these days?

if you didnt go all the over priced lone star stuff...5500 can build you a nice bike.. but honestly... that bike is super duper clean and id put a tag on it of around 9k

Thx for the honest answer. Ya i did go with a lot of overpriced stuff but I built this bike a little while back when I was younger and more impulsive. Im really not sure If im going to sell or not, but its becoming a real possibility and thats why I posted here and not the for sale thread.

That bikes look killer, but honestly you wont get more than 6k for that bike around here, if you parted it that would be a diff story.

When you say around here are you talking about this specific forum??

Your going to be hanging on to it for a while if you want 9k for it.

Dont sell it, Ever. keep it and pass it down thru the family. You have too much $$$ to lose if you sell it, or part it for that matter. Bite the bullet and keep it. I mean, your name is "prideandjoy" is it not?
