I have go single buff and I have a buddy that uses the triple buff. they are light... but when you get that thin you have to start watching out for what your running over... rims are a big role as well

maybe a pound or 2...

I use standard buff front tires for the dunes.. a lil extra weight in the front never hurts.. Plus.. I'm not as worried about a twig popping the tire.. lol

I had a set of single buffs with spindle mounts they were 12 lbs each, once I got the correct tripple buffs (same size) they went to 8 lbs each with spindle mounts.

When your holding just the tire you can feel the differance. The tripples look and feel like you can damn near put your finger through them. there will probly be a few spots that you can see the threads coming through them from the belts.

And that's on front tires...18X3.

There's a LOT more material on the rear tires. I'd bet the difference in rear paddles is MUCH more significant.

That's one of the reason us track guys walk the track, etc., and get a little miffed when we see rocks, sticks, etc.

Thought you had B2B's the first time.?

I just weighed my 25" 16 extreme stagerds on 10" rims and they weighed 15.5 lbs.
