shanYE west Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 I just weighed my 18x4 SLS tire and it weighed 4lbs. (10x2 spindle mounts were 3.8) So like you said they are 8lbs ea. If they shave 4lbs off.. that means that the tire weighed 8lbs to start on a B2B? Somthing isn't adding up. I can't see where they could shave another tire from a 18x4 B2B. Not saying your wrong.. Just a tuff pill to take from my point of view. You sure you didn't mean 4lbs for the set? My 21x7x10 SLS was only 2lbs lighter then my 21x7x10 standard buff (not B2B) Quote
Bansh-eman Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 It could have been 4 lbs for the set. It's been a while since I weighed them. I will see if I can't find the post where I talked about the weight difference. Quote
rubberneck Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 Got a little info, not the original question, but somebody could help. I have 21/12/8 9 paddle haulers in both standard single buff and Bead to Bead, but not tripple. Only 1/2 pound diff between the 2. So for all intense purposes bead to bead is for looks only. If you want to save weight, need to go tripple buffs. My superlites were still on the bike and didn't feel like pulling them off, but maybe somebody could weigh a set. My guess is several pounds. they sure feel lighter. Quote
