KaosBanshee44 Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 I've been looking to get that tool to remove the weird lock nut on top of the bearing and seal on the lower steering stem. I don't want to use a hammer and screwdriver. I need this thing asap also. Quote

I don't want to use a hammer and screwdriver. I need this thing asap also. We grabbed a bolt (forget what size), but the head fits perfect into that stem nut. Tack weld a smaller nut to the other end of that bolt. Remove with a socket, use an impact if necessary. Works perfect. let me know if I made no sense here lol Quote
RIPPEN Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Cant for the life of me remember the size either.. I got two sizes that keep popping into my mind though.. 32mm/40mm lol.. Not sure if either of those are correct but thats what keeps poppin in.. More and more I think about it Iam thinking 32.. Otherwise, should look like... RIPPEN Quote

g_low0885 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 i am pretty sure it is a 20mm bolt that has a 32 mm head size to take it off. it was a pain to get off i had to get a big impact to get it off. i would get a nut also to wield to it. Quote
BlasterKX Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) i have a couple of these that work awesome! they were in with a pile of semi sized socket in my house. Edited April 27, 2009 by BlasterKX Quote
2001Stroker Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Yup. Same size as the clutch and sprocket nuts. 32mm or 1-1/4 works too. You can use an old one of those, and weld it to a bolt. Quote
