yammyboy3 Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 i finally got my build some what together i have the mods in my sig i noticed on blacktop from 3rd up the clutch slipps bad but none of the lower gears what should i do ? my frictions look good still should i just throw some washers on the springs or what ? or does anyone have anything for sale that can help me or what Quote
wotshrek Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 i finally got my build some what together i have the mods in my sig i noticed on blacktop from 3rd up the clutch slipps bad but none of the lower gears what should i do ? my frictions look good still should i just throw some washers on the springs or what ? or does anyone have anything for sale that can help me or what i had the same problem but mine was 5th and 6th depends on how stiff you want your clutch lever i used 3 toomey heavy duty springs and 3 stock in a crisscross pattern with a barnett dirt digger clutch and that fixed my problem but i already had the barnett clutch or if you have strong hands use all 6 or if you got the money get a lockup. LS1Inferno Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Ive cheated. my clutch is still goodish there is plenty of fiber left BUT the pressure plate doesnt hold good. i put an extra steel in there so its fiber steel fiber steel steel fiber etc... and it holds the springs tight. and works great.
