atvfreestylekid Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Hey guys, I need to know where I can get a set of these o-rings. I did not see them on HR's web site. Quote
RUDEDAWG Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 haha I knew this would pis someone off. doesnt the dodge have 4 tires on the rear axle? 4 tires vs 4 tires. the drag race,. the dodge had the holeshot, got away and the chevy almost caught him far end. would have been real close with an equal leave. I got mine from Jeff @farmandsandtoys.com He is a sponsor on here and a good guy to deal with. Give him a call. Quote
LS1Inferno Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I got some orings that are about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch smaller from lowes, they are in the plumbing area and were like 2 bucks you have to stretch them it takes some manipulating to get them on but its doable. Quote

Bansh-eman Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I got some orings that are about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch smaller from lowes, they are in the plumbing area and were like 2 bucks you have to stretch them it takes some manipulating to get them on but its doable. I would suggest against this. Those orings are not rated for high temp or for petrol resistance. Go to the McMaster website and order some that will meet both those requirements and you will be fine. is there set back to not running the o rings????? i ran a 4 mill crank last year with out the middle and stator side o ring...... as a fact i put the crank back in for this year with out the same o rings... is this bad???? You run the chance that the oring spins in the bearing race, you also run a higher chance of a crank side leak. Quote
