upstate1000 Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I just picked up an 03 banshee in complete stock form. Im getting spark from both secondarys but it seems like only one cylinder is firing. The left cylinder will have the exhaust coming out of the pipe but the right exhaust is creating a vacuum when you put your hand over it. Whats up with that? It feels like it only has half the power it should. Ive synched the carbs and done the "cooter compression" test with my thumb, seems okay.( i know thats not accurate but its all i have until mon. when i can get my hand on a comp. tester) Im lost, Please help. Thanks Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 have you ridden it? does it not run right? i would assume the vacuum effect comes from the downward pull of the piston. did you throw new plugs in just to rule that out? Quote

Keyser Soze Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Sucking air through the tail pipe? I had the same problem here is what I did. You will need a custom throttle cable. Whichever side is sucking air in, you need to relocate the carb to the back of the tail pipe. Fuel will disipate so jet really rich. Quote
