By voltage out of the stator im assuming you mean the source coil which powers the box right? What should i see from that and what should i see at the primary of the ign. coil while kicking it over, im guessing around 100 peak volts to the ign. coil? Thanks

Im working on my buddies banshee which has no spark. I have a few questions for you fellas. When it comes to the TORS which was previously disconnected, is that okay, i mean simply disconnect the carb switches, TORS control box, throttle switch etc. and leave them hanging because thats how it is? He has aftermarket tops for the carbs and a twist throttle. Now i have ran through the harness and everything else and everything tests in spec(all switches, pick up coil, source coil etc). The only problem i have is when testing the ign. coil. The primary is fine but when testing the secondary(cap to cap) im getting 10.75 Mega or M Ohms instead of any K Ohm reading. Now this means millions correct which would indicate my coil is toast? Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks

i also need some nice exhaust for her to boost it up a little! and maybe a smaller tooth gear up front! or larger in rear for some pep? let me know!

nicely done, i have a question relating to suspension... my stock rear shock on my 03 is shot... feels like riding on a water balloon, havent even opened her up yet since it bottoms out over the slightest bump! have the works up front but not the cash yet for the rear, what shock could i toss in its place for a nice jump and ride suspension? think a yfz450 shock would fit? any ideas?

I have continuity from b/w to ground (frame), what does this mean?

just rebuilt the top end on it, put her all back together and had no spark, checked all parts from stator to ignition coil, all check out for resistance, still no spark at spark plugs!!! any ideas?

I pulled the cylinders piston and rings are shot metal everywhere

I just picked up an 03 banshee in complete stock form. Im getting spark from both secondarys but it seems like only one cylinder is firing. The left cylinder will have the exhaust coming out of the pipe but the right exhaust is creating a vacuum when you put your hand over it. Whats up with that? It feels like it only has half the power it should. Ive synched the carbs and done the "cooter compression" test with my thumb, seems okay.( i know thats not accurate but its all i have until mon. when i can get my hand on a comp. tester) Im lost, Please help. Thanks
