small dead spot

Heres my shit first 280, 27.5 K&N filter holes in lid 32.1 mix, t-5 pipes ,v-force 3, needle clip 2 notch from top, Alt 846. Air box screws are 1.5 out. At qt throttle it has a little dead spot. Should I move clip to 3 notch and drop to a 260. Please help its really bugging my.

this belongs in the jetting section, but, if it runs good at wot, then the jet size is good or close. search plug chop to see how to check. i would go 2 clips richer than it is(4'th from the top) and then set in the middle if there is any sputtering

pilot is too big IMO and you main seems too small for 800 feet. and put the clip in the middle.

i would put the clip in the middle.. if i remember right, the stock pilots are 25's.. your jetting sounds abour right.. i would put the clip in the middle.. adjusting needle settings makes a lot of difference in performance.

i too agree that the needle position needs to be richer. move it down one or two positions.

 

as for the mains, im at 290 and im at 500 ft asl, so you sound pretty close to me. id do a plug chop to be sure though.

 

edit...i have pods though so you would need to run a little leaner than me. sounds close.
