I rippin around my field a little bit today trying to get all the bugs out before a badlands trip....My banshee was running pretty good, seem to have a very slight backfire on the top end but was hardly noticeable. We decide to get a bite to eat. I park it and leave for an hour or so.....now the thing wont run. It is getting spark and fuel....the reeds are in good shape. We didn't check it but it feels like the compression is good..It will start but wont rev...bogs when you hit the gas. My friend was thinking timing but the flywheel seems really tight..

I take it you have already pulled the carbs.

Haven't mixed different oils have you?

Tors are removed. Parking break removed. I have pulled the carbs. Everything seems to be in order. I didnt take the bowls off and check the jets, but its getting plenty of fuel, I doubt they are clogged.

I think I would be pulling the bowls and checking the jets. Pilots are very sensitive!

Did you try spraying starting fluid in? If it has spark it would fire. Once you know for sure it is firing enough to start a little, it has to be a fuel problem at that point.

my buddy's banshee was doing the same thing a while back, it would idle but bogg when giving it gas, it was a wire that fell on to the exhaust and melted. so check the electrical also. his HQ name is DUSTINP if you wanna give him a shout on here to get more details..
