skinindustries Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 Ok i will try to explain this best i can, It is the fork like holder on the top of the engine case that the end of the clutch cable clips or sits in, well one of the prong things broke off how do i fix it??. It is the thing between the carbs looks like a U. I hope i got this right if not i will update Quote

I was thinnking i could drill a hole and put a piece of metal with a hole in it to hold the cable, do you think that would work? And for the piece i didnt know it was broke till i cleaned my shop space all up so it is probly in the trash :ermm: Quote

And i have another question when my bike is in nuetral how much play (up and down) should be in the shifter?? I have about a 1/2 inch is that too much? Quote

AKheathen Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 (edited) yeah i dont want to spend that much. i was goin to get some toomey t-6's are those good pipes? i ride trails and open fields. you can usually pickup a coolhead setup for around 100-150 going used on the forum, and the timing mod is about the biggest bang for your buck noss is the easiest bolt-on, using all stock studs and, i believe, one piece design.
