Ok i will try to explain this best i can, It is the fork like holder on the top of the engine case that the end of the clutch cable clips or sits in, well one of the prong things broke off how do i fix it??. It is the thing between the carbs looks like a U. I hope i got this right if not i will update

if you still have the piece i'd try some jb weld or something first. or if you know somebody that can do it have them tack it back on for you.

o....well i dont know how to fix that. a very good tig welder maybe can set him up. im not so hot on the tig. i wouldnt trust a sloppy mig on my case. :confused:

yeah that was not the part. I was thinnking i could drill a hole and put a piece of metal with a hole in it to hold the cable, do you think that would work? And for the piece i didnt know it was broke till i cleaned my shop space all up so it is probly in the trash :ermm:

i would fashion up a bracket sort of like the one shown before any drilling into the case. better off making something that will bolt up using what you already have.

well that is the problem, it is just like this U shaped thing and the clutch cable sits in. i am goin to go look at it tomorrow to see if i can make something. And i have another question when my bike is in nuetral how much play (up and down) should be in the shifter?? I have about a 1/2 inch is that too much?

ok i didnt know if something was wrong with my shifter shaft. also i am getting my tax return soon and i want to do some mods to my shee, I already have toomy t-4's and silencers, I am a trails/open fields rider, i was thinking of boring it over dont want to go to crazy but i want more power.

coolhead, +4 timing. boring doesn't really give you any power, and reduces your cylinder life. porting is also a big power mod, but it depends on ho much you're looking to spend.

yeah i dont want to spend that much. i was goin to get some toomey t-6's are those good pipes? i ride trails and open fields.

you can usually pickup a coolhead setup for around 100-150 going used on the forum, and the timing mod is about the biggest bang for your buck

noss is the easiest bolt-on, using all stock studs and, i believe, one piece design. They are also at a great price if you wanna go new.
