how important are the motor mounts on the bottom of the motor, my banshee does not have them, would that cause it to vibrate ?

If your in Kansas its like 24 degrees here right now. Who ported your bike, might ask them? I would say stay with the 350s till it warms up a bit or start taking it down SLOWLY till your plug chops say your good. Cold weather is Taboo for new 2 stroke motors!! As for vibration, may want to check mounts, check flywheel, and check carb sync.

hey i was just digging up this post because i have a bad vibration when the engine revs up and comes back down, was wondering if the bottom motor mounts helped as far as i c the flywheal is brand new and its torgue down but dont know bout the rivits thanks

the things to look at are carb sync, misfire-like pickup gap/flywheel, and compression imballance. if the porting specs don't match, or chamber size/squish is off, it'll throw out a pretty good vibration, especially free-reving...

alot of poeple say when u switch from the stock pistons to the wisecos or pretty mucvh any forge piston. these motors create a vibration.. weird cuz i had lil vibration and when i rebuild to wiseco the motor has more vibration i can feel it on the seat.. maybe its more peppy i dont know... havent given it a good ride yet since the rebuild..

check motor mounts, then maybe if it doesnt clear it can be a crank balancing issue
