looking for suggestions on some haulers since they are close. looking for advice on rear tire size and sproket sizes. its going to be for some dragging and some duning . but mostly dragging .

rider weight? also, what sand dunes? some sands are heavier than others making some paddle setups better or worse.

dunes will be glamis and dumont dunes , im not sure of the sand weight out there. rider i am about 190.

With the cub you should be able to pull 12 paddles with a 70-73 roll out without a problem, but you will be wheelin with the 6 over.. Gearing maybe a 13-41 or 14-43, somewhere in that area.. Jmo

rollout ? care to enlighten a noob?

I'm new to the sand and the two times I've made it out; 1st to Glamis and 2nd time to Dumont. The 1st time out I ran 14 paddle 22x11x8 haulers that were borrowed from a friend. The 2nd time out I bought a set of 12 paddle 22x11x8 extremes. I think I like the haulers the best.

Our quad is normally on asphalt, but we are having some fun on the sand. You can find our sand videos in the drag forum under asphalt quad @ Glamis and asphalt to sand II (Dumont). Our quads best ET in the 1/4 is 10.23 @ 123mph.

We run a 443cc Cub on gas, stock frame, +8 swingarm and I weigh 215 lbs.

The rollout is the amount of the tire it will expand. So the more RO, the more it will expand, which equals more traction.. The most common is around 71-73.. But I've seen anywhere from 66-80+..

Uh, no. It's the measurement around the outside diameter of the tire. It's already been explained right once.

If you don't have a fabric tape, you just mark the tire and the ground in the same spot. Then you "roll" the tire until the mark goes around one complete revolution. Mark the ground there, then measure the distance between the two marks on the ground. That's roll out.

My bike is pretty comparable with a 421 cub. I run a 12 paddle hauler and 16-44. My weight is 150, my bike could pull more paddle but my wallet cant.
