IceFireBanshee Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Hey guys need some info here, a few months ago when surfing for parts I found a company that had a modded lower cool head that would cool better than the stock form cool head, something was mentioned in the description about directing coolant down the cylinders instead of just the top. Problem is I cant find the site anymore. Does anyone or has anyone else read or seen this product. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Josh Quote

AKheathen Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 I dont see how a head is going to change the way the water goes through the cylinders. if the head is chabered, so that the coolant has to run under the head, instead of just pass the domes. i'm not sure if that's how that head works, but i'd imagine that's how. Quote

I guess some pass the domes, and I forget how the others were... I'm not sure if it's true or not. I'd imagine Noss/Pro Designe/Chariot whatever is better than stock anyways! My vote goes to Pro Design Coolhead. Got a badass deal from NYUK on it...if I had to pay normal prices, I probably would have went with a NOSS because of their site sponsorship and good rep. Sorry I can't help with the cooling part of it. Quote
phrog70 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 what is difer in the head u are talking about is there is a dam in the middle of the head that makes the coolent flow in and out of the passages instead of just filling the head and cyclinders up it kind of just directs the flow of water. more effec. if you now what i mean. i have coolhead myself but have seen the one your talkimg about. goodluck. Thanks Josh you DO NOT want to buy anything from that fucking clown.. turn and run away from that shit.. you need a NOSShead. NOSS is a site sponsor and builds an awesome head. plus you get a discount for being an HQ member. Quote
