2001Stroker Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Shift star is worth it. You can grind it down the stock one yourself if you want. As far as levers, ASV. No question about it. Quote
00tbanshee Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 i second that.shifter star is really worth it.as for the clutch lever i know jeff from fast sells a really nice on that i run.just watch there are some reall cheap easy pull levers out there that are worth a crap Quote
magz Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 you can buy ASV levers all day long on ebay directly from the manufacutorer from anywhere from 5 to 45 dollars. they are refurbs though which means something broke and their used but they've been repaired and fixed and back to quality. I think with the refurbs, you only get a one year warranty though. Limited Lifetime, if you buy new. Quote

dragbanshee Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Is it easy to mod the shift star?can u tell me what has to be done? Someone advertises it with the stock and the modded one side x side, I thought about doing it but opted not to. magz, I haven't seen any how too's but im sure this would be a breeze for you if you were thinking of doing it. Hilarious Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 here is a picture taken off of cascade's website. just round out and smooth the edges of the segment. this can be done on a bench grinder. if you really want your banshee to shift smooth, i would suggest a duneable override trans.
