werner Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 anybody run a blaster axle? ive heard they are a little narrower then stock shee axle and it might be a good way to get more of a rear drag stance for cheap...I assume they are same strength as shee axles just not as wide? Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I run one on mine,You have to get 03 or newer though for it to work n a banshee carrier. They are narrower by quite a bit and as for strenght dunno but I would assume it would be atleast the same if not more do to it being narrower and less lenght to create a pivot point to failure. Natemills8 Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I run on in my drag bike they are about 2 maybe 3 inches narrower than a banshee it will get your tires closer togeter and if you have deep dish wheels & turn then in it helps even more! same thing as a drag axle but heavier but works the same Quote
00tbanshee Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 i run one as well and seen a difference in my e.t's when i put it on.good cheap upgrade for drag racing. Quote
RIPPEN Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I actually put a stock Raptor axel on mine.. Isn't as narrow as the blasters obvioulsy but was a pretty simple swap and narrowed me by a inch or two.. RIPPEN Quote

Yeah +6 and I have issues only if the sand is real wet.Any other time its a strait launch wide open no issues. As for your round house carrier if it is set to use stock banshee axle IE bearing I D then you still have to use 03 or newer for the blasty axle to work. Otherwise flip the axel over and it all goes together.. Mine was kickin my ass at first but once I figured out you flip the axel over it went together smoothly.. RIPPEN Quote
