AKheathen Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 i disagree. proper jetting is in fact necessary to have a good running bike, but in this case he is going from a raptor to a banshee. raptors are SOHC that produce power from idle all the way on up. banshees are NOT like this. they do lag on the bottom end, plain and simple. he may have a slight jetting issue, but thats not gonna make it run like his raptor. sounds to me like hes describing what every new banshee owner experiences. its not a jetting issue. i went directly from an 05 660r piped and strait to a banshee. it doesn't have the split-second response, but 4 seconds is a long ass time to hit power. it should be more like 1 second, unless you're starting out in 3rd, or have it set up for a narrower power band on the top end. i know it'll never run like a raptor, but it should do better than it is. liveordie72089 Posted January 24, 2009 Author Report Posted January 24, 2009 Yeah sorry my bad... I was exaggerating... My bike has been bored 40 over... But yeah I noticed its only 1st gear so maybe its supposed to have a delay with a bigger year... Ill be looking at my throttle bodies tomorrow... Oh and which one is the idle screw valves??? There's two right??? Oh and go check out in the pictures I listed my bike... Quote
