sheerider1026 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 ran across a stock crank but the webs have seperated on one side, you can see that the rod has more side to side play.. is this something that can be pressed back together and trued/welded??? or is it garbage?? Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 pretty sure it can be fixed.. i had a 10mm crank rebuilt that had come apart. Quote
278 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Call the builder you'll be sending it to and ask him... Pretty sure you can fix it. Thats the point in getting it trued and welded so that dont happen lol  Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 they can be fixed, but to be honest if its a stock crank, you can buy a used stocker with like 2 hours on it in mint condition for the same price a fixing the one thats seperated. you can find stock cranks for 75 bucks all day long Quote
