And my avatar...dude it's mario bros, not even closely related to softcore porn. this site is not for kids, plain and simple. if you wanna show your kid pics of bikes just type in banshee in a google search and check the images. this site contains more adult content than anything. it would be hard to make it otherwise without affecting everything HQ stands for. I really like what atvdragracers has going on, lots of cool guys and good info. PS has pretty much gone to shit. I read up because there are a few good members that offer some info once in a while. Mostly though its just a few cocky dicks. Im not a drag racer, so I just enjoy some of the technical discussions of the other sites. I like to learn about what im into and those sites offer some things this one doesn't. That being said this place is really still my favorite. HQ is by far the LEAST moderated forum i am on. This site tends not to go as deep into the technical stuff, but i keep coming back becuase it is just a fun place to hang out. I like the comparison to hanging out in the garage with your pals wrenching and talking shit. I like to answer questions for the new guys. Hell it wasn't that long ago and I was a new guy. To banshees anyway. What drives me nuts are the guys that offer "technical advice" if you can call it that and it is obvious that they have no fucking clue. But the cool thing about this site is that if you want to you can call them out and tell them they are full of shit. Other sites get all bitchy and strart deleting posts and comments if it gets to personal. Its just more real. I dont want any more moderation than there is. The way i view it if you dont want to read all the whining and bitching, just skip that thread. It does get annoying when a good technical discussion does get started and most of the time it ends up in pointless off topic bickering. But hey you have to take the good with the bad. Maybe as members we should step up and tell the offenders to fuck off and go clutter up some other thread. Kind of self moderating I guess. IDK. I agree... this place never had and probably never will have all the technical, cutting edge specs or news for the guys that are into hard core drag racing, such as my self. However...there are probably 100 times more trail riders and duners out there than us drag racers. I get that. This is a GREAT place for them. The fact it is moderated VERY little (that's a good thing, IMO) and I can come on here and vent, tell MJ he's gay, stay away from little boys, or tell people like gregbj or littleredsackinhood what a couple of meat gazing, pecker in cheek clowns they are....well, I kinda like that freedom.
