Lol oh my gosh i went to kick start hoping it would start up and my kicker wont come out. it just won t move to wear i can kick it. what causes this. what do i have to replace now . like i tried jerking it out but it wont come. idk what to do. somebody get me. got my fourwheeler back and the guy said he didnt want to fix it unitll i told him to. but i want to know if i can fix it myself easier. help

you mean your kicker wont flip out? id say your ball is toast in there. you might have broken it causing the kicker to jam up. gonna have to take the kicker off and put a new spring and ball in there.

i got sand in mine and it wouldnt pop out. i sprayed a shit load of wd-40 in it and loosend it up.

but like tyler said... prob need a kicker rebuild kit.

could it keep it from running right. im gonna run it this weekedn at the farm and i dont have time to get it fixed befor ehten.

 

The kicker has nothing to do with engine performance other than the starting factor :biggrin: . Take it off and clean it and see if that works.

Hey Broke,

 

just like Loco says,

 

your steal ball is all gone inside the kicker mate...

 

just screw loose the kicker, then the bolt, holding the lever on it`s root. careful of that little spring, when hes gone hes gone :)

All fooked up steal ball out and in goes the replacement :biggrin:

Mine did the same thing this past summer. Got some grit in there somehow. I just took it apart, cleaned it, greased the shaft, and put a new/thicker o-ring on it, to keep the dirt out.
