dajogejr Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 This question is for dajogejr, with the plate set-up I use is the nology coil too close to cdi Are you asking me or telling me you currently have the CDI that close to the Nology? If you get interference from the CDI to coil, it could start tough, bog, miss in the upper RPMs...and it feels like the jetting is off. Quote
Snopczynski Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 whats your problem with "making it personal"? it is personal. you said you dont like doing it. you, PERSONALLY, dont like doing it. youre about retarded. you and your cousins. I cant wait till you get off your winter break and go back to pre-school. Quote

I JUST BOUGHT THAT RELOCATOR PLATE. AND I MOUNTED THE NOLOGY IN THE LITTLE DIVIT BEHIND THE GAS TANK ON A PIECE OF ALUM FLAT STOCK. Quote

THE358BANSH Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 yeah, I have to agree about the 99 dollar job. NOT needed. It may be not "needed", but it is the correct way to complete a wiring job that will withstand the rigors of time/weather/grime. The whole whole shebang for weatherpack/metripack/amp/duetsch/sparkplug crimping dies will go about 170 bones, but once you use them you will never go back. I just started to rewire my complete quad front to back tonight. Funny thing is, it all started with a blown headlight bulb. I left all the components in the stock locations mainly because I am used to them there and I hate working in tight quarters. I ended up ditching all of the TORS, thumb switch, key, headlight dimmer switch, and stock kill switch. The headlights are now hot while the engines on, and all off/run duties are handled thru a tether. The whole system is ran in UL1426 marine grade wire and terminaled with WeatherPacks. It's turning out pretty sweet. I should be done with it later today, I could post some pictures if anybody wants...Evan Quote

Snopczynski Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 make sure you buy that 100 dollar crimp tool before you shorten your harness!! :yelrotflmao: I don't see the point in what your doing. Its like your making fun of me for doing something right and promoting shitty work for bagging on my nice tools. I was a gm technician for a living, I own factory gm tools. You cannot fix GM factory wiring without the gm factory crimp tool. Are you always this much of an amazing douche and I have just never noticed it until now? My god, 16,000 posts and someone would think by reading what you say that your eating glue and trying to show girls your wee wee on the playground everyday. Act like a senior member, set an example, and be someone that people can respect and go to for good info on here. Dont bag on me because you dont believe in nice crimpers and using torque wrenches. Dont bag on me because you dont believe in nice crimpers and using torque wrenches. yes, ive always been this way. i really come out in full force when fools like you make blanket statements like, "its pointless to move your harness" or "to do it right you need a $99 crimp tool." i do set an example. i set a better example than someone like you does, telling a guy that just because YOU and YOUR COUSIN thought it was hard and stupid to rewire your banshee. its not hard and the guy should be supported in what he wants to do. not deterred from it because you are a godly gm tech who thinks its hard to rewire 5 wires on a banshee. dont worry, i PMed the guy, and told him that you were a clown and that if he needed any help with it he could call me and i would walk him through it. i guess thats the shitty example im setting for other members huh? so ill tell you what, get the fuck off my balls, before you end up like gregrob and bigred on this site. spouting off at the mouth and being a retard.
