I just got done taking 700lbs of sled threw 2 feet of powder at 70mph for 6 hours. You get used to riding over things you can't see. Course, if you stick to beated down paths, you won't have any problems. I would totally get that kit, but in NYS, once its an ATV, it can never be made a snowmobile for use on state trails. I wondered if you home built a banshee frame, that was ONLY used as a snowmobile, if you could get it on the trails, Could be fun.

I don't know! I guess to each his own. I'll sit here watching the kids play nintendo next to the fire instead of freezing my ass off and wait till spring to go ride in the sand! LOL. And whats with the "once its an ATV, it can never be made a snowmobile for use on state trails"? That seems like some bullshit to me! That's about like saying "once you go to the work force, you can't go back to school"! WTF?

It's funny I saw the track kit in an ATV mag. for the 4x4's and was thinking if you only buy 2 tracks in stead of all 4 the shee would be great for in the winter, that's cool that someone made a kit. Hey regal I think its time for a new sled, I've ridden 700 pound sleds in powder and it sucks shit, especially when you get stuck it takes you half a day to get the darn thing out  been there done that.

haha i don't see that as bein usefull on a shee unless you're riddin tight trails. for 800, you could just buy a 90's sled and have way more fun. then again, i've seen a sled with half a quad frame for a desert duner

That shit looks ignorant.

If I want to ride a snowmobile I'll buy one !

I don't thin it's terrible. The front hub to ski mounting colution ought to be better, but it has some promise. If it snowed more around my place I might could get into something like that.
