SandRageShee Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 fmf fattys or gnarlys with powercore 2 silencers. Quote
Blaze04 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I do the same type of riding, I have FmF fattys with powercoreII silencers Quote
BansheeRider87 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Just bought fmf gold series sst and powercore2 silencers and do the same type of riding Either FMF's or Pro Circuits are the way to go! Quote
Dick Wheels Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Cant wait to get bashed for this but I'm gonna say DG. They are cheap, sound good, brings the power band in lower in the rpm range and gives a nice smooth transition and pull hard right up to 7,500rpm. Plus they are light. What else could you ask from a trail pipe. DG pipe dyno chart Quote
Snopczynski Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Lets get something out in the open here. People recommend fatty's, that is not an mx pipe. The gnarly is the fmf mx pipe. FMF claims the fatty and the sst to have gains everywhere. We all know this is not possible for a 2 stroke pipe like the fatty to have a healthy increase everywhere. When you say gold series, in my mind you are referring to the old pipe made in the mid 90's. Now I realize that the fatty says gold series on it, but so does the sst and and the gnarly. So in my mind, gold series was the pipe made in the mid 90's that only had one name, and that was "Gold Series". DG pipes are loud, and hard to get replacement parts for. T5 is a mid-top pipe. Quote
fatboyracingg Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 i would go with pt mid. one of the best low end pipes. Quote

My DG's are really loud and have an awesome sound to them...I took the packing out. Wasn't worried about the 1 or 2 horse cause the sound makes up for it now. Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Define "trails." Trail riding in FL means you will want a mid-top pipe because most things here are flat and straight. I would assume that you are talking about a lot of hills and shit though, which means you'd want a lower ended pipe like PTs. Quote
