speed-racer Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Anyone store their Banshee standing upright on the grab bar? It would save a ton of room and I can't see it hurting anything as long as the transmission fluid doesn't overflow. I made a storage device that the axle and grab bar rest on......it has lockable swivel casters and is easy to use. Works great and I've used it for about a year. Just curious what everyone else does to save space......or am I the only one with a cramped garage? http://img389.imageshack.us/my.php?image=b...orage001mi1.jpg http://img512.imageshack.us/my.php?image=b...orage003ej6.jpg Quote
Meat Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 hey thats a pretty good idea. Iv thought about standing mine up to save space, but never thought about building a rolling stand for the job. You should market that idea. Quote
speed-racer Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 I love it.....its so easy to stand it up in the driveway and wash it. The handlebars are at a perfect height to grab and push it around. I figured someone has already done this, but I guess you can't really leave a 4 poke in that position for a while. Quote
bronco91shee Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I DID THAT LAST WINTER MYSELF. THAT WAS B/C THE 3RD GARAGE WAS TO FULL. LOL. ANYWAYS. IT RAN WHEN I PULLED IT IN AND TEH CDI WAS DEAD WHEN I PULLED IT BACK OUT INTE SPRING. IDK WHAT HAPPENED. MABYE TO COLD? NEVER HAD THE PROBLEM BEFORE. AND I KNOW FOR A FACT, NO ONE ELSE TOUCHED THE QUAD OR THAT GARAGE FOR THOSE 4 MONTHS IN BETWEEN. BUT OVERALL. I AGREE. ITS A GREAT SPACE SAVER.... Quote

speed-racer Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 That is a great idea to save space! just make sure you turn your fuel off haha Yeah, what sucks is when you forget to shut the fuel off and think whats running out is just from the bowls.....few minutes later :ermm: Quote
fastrthnu Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 what! none of you have done that. I made a castor board with 2 mini straps (used for supporting electrical conduit) that the grab bar snaps in and out of. Just watch you have vent tubes hooked up from your case or youll have a harley davidson stain on the floor under it. Quote
