I dont kno about all that, but i have emailed him a few times, he responds pretty quick. I like the idea of the bracket, real clean look.. he also shortens/cleans the harness for a few bucks Quote

I have one of these brackets and never got aound installing it. I also have a toomey radiator and wondering if it will work. I'll have to dig up the bracket and check. Quote
Hilarious Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 i made myself a bracket and mounted the cdi on the back of the gas tank. also, you can shorten your harness and plug your cdi directly into the stator. Quote

baddsheee Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 I just looked at it and it seems like it wouldn't interfere. I believe the toomey radiator is just longer but the bracket ends up mounting underneath the front part of the gas tank. I don't see it being an issue but might want to double check with the guy who made it or wait till I get time to try it. Quote
2001Stroker Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I asked the same thing, but the thread title probably threw you off. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry897665 Quote

I'd say down by the cross-member that goes between the shock towers would be a safe bet. Quote
NYUK Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 fuck. i already ordered the bracket from gb. i made a bracket for behind the gas tank, but the cdi won`t mount clean, looks kinda sloppy. i will move the coil there and put the cdi on the gb bracket. my frames already pc`ed so welding the stock cdi mount up front is out.i got all winter to get it right. but i am so close now i am chomping at the bit to smell some castor oil and c12. shanYE west Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I used a key relocating bracket to move the CDI up front under the nose piece of the plastic. It was very clean looking.. no one even knew it was there.. I'm sure you could cut a piece of aluminum plate and it would be the same. Quote

I mounted my CDI and voltage regulator in the same position as fouledout 421. I welded a bracket to the frame before finishing, but you could do just like he did. It comes out clean, and you cant tell its there unless you look from underneath. really cleans things up. Quote
2001Stroker Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 If you click on that first link I put up, scroll down to the photo RIPPEN put up. theshee made that for him. It bolts to the front gas tank mounts, and the front fender mounts. Looks real clean. Quote
