Mine did the same thing its the parking brake switch. Follow the wires that come off the parking brake lever and unplug the plug by the radiator.

theres no parking brake swith either. so thats not it.

I have a 2000 Banshee with a twist throttle and all TORS parts removed. It was running great when I parked it. Started it up last week and it also won't run above and idle. Starts first kick, runs on both sides, sounds great, but when you try to rev it up, it just bogs down like you've got a rag stuck in the carbs.

ok, to rule out the tors, make sure the box is unplugged across from the coil, the throttle switch, carb wires, and parking brake wires are all disconnected, and not touching. then we can focus on what else it could be  would it rev up before you replaced the reeds? did it run good under load, or did you buy it this way? you check for good blue spark? are the plugs completely dry? floats adjusted right? does it rev at all, or does it die when you touch the throttle? check your harness for chaffed, melted, broken wires. the next thing would be the stator or timing plate

Does it still have TORS? Parking brake switch will cause it to not rev.

I'm still stickin with my original thought. No other reason that it wouldn't rev up at all. It could be lean or rich, weak spark, or what ever, all day long. It would still rev some sitting in neutral. TORS is somehow your enemy.

yea the trotttle respose was good before they were replaced. it bogs down everytime it gets a little gas. it has good spark. so i dont think its anything electrical. im leaning twords carb issues.

Thanks for the tips. In my case, it was the parking brake switch. I followed your instructions and it fired right up. Really snaps through those T6s! Appreciate the good advice.
