Yup, just make sure it has at least 50% anti-freeze. If you plan on riding it during the winter months, keep the gas tank full. That way it doesn't create condensation in the tank. Cause you know, water is heavier than gas. And like killshee said, if you don't plan on riding it, empty the tank so the gas doesn't go bad. Don't forget to drain the bowls. If you use leaded racing fuel, you should be ok to let it sit for a couple of month without any problems.

EDIT: Grease all of your fittings. That way if there is any water in the joints, the grease will push it out. You don't want water freezing in those joints. It could cause someting to crack or break.

I dont think so. I use Honda coolant. Its already premixed and good to use in bikes. I've been using it for 15 years without any problems.

Check the Clymers manual but yeah I think you pull the hose off and open up the drain bolts on the jugs. If you get most of the coolant out and fill it back up with the antifreeze you should be good

you dont need to drain engine ice, im not sure exactly how cold they say it goes to befoe it freezes, but it damn sure gets well below freeszing here in jersey, ive never had any problems

im sure u know to fatten your jetting as well, if your gona be riding in the snow and freezin temps

drain the coolant and fill it with straight water... its also a good idea to drain the gas and fill the tank with water. turn your petcock to on and let the carbs fill with water as well.. this will help to ensure easy starting once spring rolls around.

ive also heard to drain the tranny oil and put diesel in there.. but i cant verify whether or not thats helpful.
