Michael Jackson Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 how do you drain the anti freeze? pull the hose off next to the clutch cover? theres a little gold colored bolt on the side of each cylinder, unplug the resivour, take cap of rad,. and id remove one bolt at a time, or set up 2 buckets , on on each side, because it comes out of the side of the cylinders with pretty good force, then stick a hose in the top of the radiator and flush out whatever is left, thats how ive done it int he past at least Quote
Michael Jackson Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 drain the coolant and fill it with straight water... its also a good idea to drain the gas and fill the tank with water. turn your petcock to on and let the carbs fill with water as well.. this will help to ensure easy starting once spring rolls around. ive also heard to drain the tranny oil and put diesel in there.. but i cant verify whether or not thats helpful. our fearless moderator, haha Quote
dajogejr Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 27 below F for Engine Ice. http://www.engineice.cc/ I would drain the gas and oil from the gas tank and drain the carbs. Put fresh gas and oil in it once you're gonna ride it.... Quote
