I have a K&N filter and then the K&N PowerLid as well...

I went back out, wiggled the plug wires, and it started running 100% again. I'm thinking it might be electrical at this point...

Did you try the wire swap? Check the caps to make sure their on good, plug caps, twist them on good.

Yeah, not sh*t... LOL!

On edit: Sorry, had to laugh about that one... Cut 1/4" off the plug wires and put the caps back on. See if that helps.

The plug is "oil fouled", am I running to rich? 50:1 with 300 mains 25 pilots, and the additional mods in my signature

50:1 is not much oil at all. That's probably what you weedeater runs on. Most people burn 32:1. I have seen some people on here run 36:1, and a couple 40:1. Personally, I prefer 32:1, and I don't foul plugs. Are you using some junk oil? Cheap oil will not burn as good as the more expensive stuff, causing a fouled plug and wet exhaust.

I run Yamalube Racing oil. Is that crap oil?

I may try 40:1 and see how that works...

I just wrote this in someone else's thread. I personally don't like Yamalube. I use Maxima SuperM synthetic blend. I love it. Other people will tell you different oils to use. I've seen alot of Castor927 being used, which is also made by Maxima. Some will even swear by Yamalube. I just don't think it burns clean enough. I tried it in my Yamaha jet ski, and absolutely didn't like it. I fouled alot of plugs with it. That was also a synthetic blend. Maxima seems to be working great for me. You might be able to use the search button for answers on that topic.

I used to use the castor 927 its a great oil no doubt. I work at napa and can get valvoline for 3 bucks a quart, i switched and changed from 32:1 to close to 40:1 and its the same bike. I have no doubt its not a clean burning as the castor but I plan on doing a port job soon and its doing great. the only that sucks is that it settles a lot thicker than the castor after sitting for a couple weeks. Still never even came close to fouling a plug or anything....
