2strokespirit Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Hey guys.. Just got my pwk33s with new cable, installed them, but damn, they kill mu thumb!!! I mean they are very stiff compare to the stock carbs, the routing of the cable is fine, no tight turns or anything.. Is there a replacement spring? Otherwise I will just remove the spring in the thumb and shorten these... Any other suggestions welcome... Thanks Quote
2001Stroker Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 You can either cut the springs a little shorter, or what I did was buy a Moose Racing thumb throttle. That took alot of pressure off my thumb. Don't get me wrong, it's still a little on the stiff side, but much better than the stock one. They're a little expensive, but I'm sure you know all about the world of Banshee's. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_cata...tId=&mmyId= Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 just cut a couple coils off each spring. that will help a ton. also, becoming a man instead of a little girl will help.. you must have girly arms!! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 cut a few coils out and buy your self a mod quad extended billet thumb throttle Quote
huskyohilux Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 FAST sells replacement springs for the PWK, haven't tried them though... Other than that you can either cut them like the other guys said or weaken them by carfully grind a bit to thinnen them. Quote
