Misssppelllleddd Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I know that your situation can happen if your reeds are not fully sealed. Check your exhaust if there is a leak at the flange. Did you have a leak down test done? Quote
Wildcard2 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 It sounds like a pilot jet or reeds. check and see if your pilot jet is plugged and like misss said check your reeds. Quote
desertdeweller Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 did you remember to install the choke tube Quote
Ben350 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 if the bad cylinder will fire with the choke on, sounds like a fuel problem. Double and triple check that the pilot jet AND the passageway is all clear Quote
desertdeweller Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Maybe your carbs are getting worn and the float is hanging up on you. My stockers had that problem too the emulsion hole that the needles went into were oval shaped from being worn, the floats had a lot of side to side slop in them and would hang up inside the carb.
