maxtrax Posted October 6, 2008 Report Posted October 6, 2008 I live in michigan and like to snowmobile. I have never really thought about it until this summer when I thought about getting paddle tires. It turned out I decided against them, but was wondering how much difference they make in snow? This could make it worth looking into getting them agian if they help much. Quote
jbooker82 Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Get a pair of Maxxis 4 Snow's. They work good. The are kind of a baloon tire but work sweet in the snow. I can pull wheelies on snow pack with my raptor. josh Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 My vote is Pro-Wedge II. They are basically the same as 4-Snow, but I am old school and prefer the PWII. F.A.S.T. sells them... Quote
maxtrax Posted October 8, 2008 Author Report Posted October 8, 2008 Thanks, I have never seen either of those before. Will those work pretty good in sand too? I am kinda looking for a tire that serves both purposes. Quote

BellicoseBanshee Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Thanks, I have never seen either of those before. Will those work pretty good in sand too? I am kinda looking for a tire that serves both purposes. When riding in snow, run them in the rotation direction on the tire (not scooping), and for sand, just turn them around and so the paddles scoop like a sand tire. Quote
