flyhighprerunner Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Cody I don't know if you already bought one, but Ive seen these kick starters in person and they are beefier than shit. The ones i saw looked kinda cool as well. Here is the link! Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted October 4, 2008 Author Report Posted October 4, 2008 Thanks man i've been looking around, Cascades looks like a stock kicker just polished, i've found some other ones that are just hella expensive. I like the one you just showed me though i'll probably end up getting that one just cause of the description "Big bore stroker kickstarter. 1 inch taller and wider than stock" Thanks again Quote
trex banshee Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Thanks man i've been looking around, Cascades looks like a stock kicker just polished, i've found some other ones that are just hella expensive. I like the one you just showed me though i'll probably end up getting that one just cause of the description "Big bore stroker kickstarter. 1 inch taller and wider than stock" Thanks again yes, cascade sells the factory one but chromed. Its like what i have on my bike. One thing your gonna run into with an aluminum one is (if your running steel pegs) the aluminum is going to get all marred up and ripped in a way when it smacks off the foot peg. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted October 9, 2008 Author Report Posted October 9, 2008 I just had my stock pegs dipped in chrome but don't remember the kicker hitting them though. Stock is what your talking about huh? Quote
Wildcardracing Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Just be careful not to kick it over too far. The billet ones don't have the little tab on them to stop the kicker from rotating over too far, that's why they get all beat up. Quote

JasonsBanshee Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 These are all really expensive compared to what I bought. I picked mine up on ebay new for like $35 shipped. Included genuine Yamaha hardware and o ring too. Quote
