05.Banshee.SE
I went to test run my 'Shee down the street, then it started firing only one cylinder. I popped the carb off and saw that this circled part, (the jet connects to the bottom part of it), is moving up and down. Isn't there supposed to be a washer or something on the bottom keeping it from doing this?
05.Banshee.SE
...Is anyone around? It wasn't completely firing on one either, it was in and out with gas flow, so this is my problem.
Tim Potteiger
That picture resembles a needle going in a jet, but it is way too blurry to make out what you are asking.
shee4speed
I agree, way too blurry.
gregbowler
my guess is the main jet rattled out in the bowl
05.Banshee.SE
The part the Jet screws into won't stop sliding up and down. Is the main jet the only piece that keeps it from going up and down?
shee4speed
there should be a brass washer there also.
05.Banshee.SE
there should be a brass washer there also. I ripped apart the other carb and noticed that I was missing the washer. I was able to get a new one, and a few spares for free. Thanks all.
