gregrob Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 I need just a set of rings to rering my left cylinder. I found the wiseco part number for banshee replacement rings and can get them online. My question is though, I have a 4mil/5m longrod motor with blaster pistons. My bore size is 64.50mm. Should I get replacement banshee 6450 rings, or Blaster 6450 replacement rings? Thanks, Quote
themudgician Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 IM NO PRO BUT I WOULD THINK U WOULD WANT RINGS FOR THE BLASTER PISTONS 4 THE BORE SIZE OF YOUR JUGS. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RING GAPS TOO. Quote
bansheejoel Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 (edited) if your running blaster pistons why would you buy banshee rings  ? i would think you would want the blaster rings, but im not a pro either lol Edited September 9, 2008 by bansheejoel Quote
Bansh-eman Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 if your running 795 series piston get the rings for the banshee. if your running a blaster piston (513 series) which your not by judging your bore size, then you would want the blaster rings Quote

I'm a tard, I'm running 795 pistons, not blasters.... Thanks, I'll go with the banshee rings. These look right? I'll probably call Andy in the morning and get a set from him, just found these by googling the part number. http://www.mfgsupply.com/m/c/2539CD-atv.html Quote
No Limit Powersports Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 It doesnt matter all of the 64.5 size pistons take the same ring which is the 2539CD (blaster, 513, 795 etc...) Quote
