ive been having problems with shifting at wot. i put a new shifter shaft modded from fast with modded star, and lighter spring.it shifts fine just riding around or if i shift it as soon as it gets in the powerband, but if i let it rev up to high it wont go in the next gear. i tore it down it has a billet basket, but the clutch hub has a bunch of grooves wore in it. thats all i see thats not right. could that cause this problem by not letting the cluch realase like it should. any help would be greatly appriciated

i just put a ground star and fast modded shifter shaft,and lighter spring a couple weeks ago and it cured it for a while, now its doing it again wont shift at wot but shifts perfect just cruising around. i think it has stock clutch springs.

THAT SUCKS I WASNT WANTING TO GET INTO ALL THAT. MAYBE I WILL TRY A THICKER OIL THAN ATF FLUID.

MY COUNTER SHAFT SEAL BEHIND THE FRONT SPROKET IS LEAKING. WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO CHANGE IT. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED.

i replaced the shift shaft, shift star and eliptical bolt and it shifts perfect now. the shift shaft was worn out

i am new to banshees, is it normal 4 banshees to have a vibration off idle. i dont notice it at idle but when i rev it up i can feel it in the handle bars and foot pegs. i just replaced the clutch basket bushings, is there anyway i could of put somethin togather off balance in the clutch

IM NO PRO BUT I WOULD THINK U WOULD WANT RINGS FOR THE BLASTER PISTONS 4 THE BORE SIZE OF YOUR JUGS. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RING GAPS TOO.

did you run the numbers on the carb, how old is it, is it a reliable setup. are you currently running it.my air box also has a pro flow kit in it.what reeds are you running i got boysen rad valves and they have a notch in the top around the boost bottle area i dont know if they will work with ur setup. if we traded maybe we could meet in shipshewanna. let me know for sure what carb is. i just got my setup runnin good.half scared to take it off now

i centered it jacked back tires up and spun tires and shifted it, some times it wouldnt upshift all the way or down shift. i took shift shaft out and repeated but shifted by hand and it went in every time.

where the claw swivels up and down on the shifter shaft plate is loose and sloppy

is it normal for the clutch basket cushions to be 2 different sizes,mine are about 1/4 difference in size. 1 big one and one little one in each slot. should the end of the shifter shaft be sloppy, the springed peice that moves the pins to shift. it hard to jugde a even gap to set it correctly. because of the slop prob about a 1/16 or so. any help guys would be great.

could any of these things be causing a hard to shift at wot. or do i need to dig deeper

how do you adjust the shift shaft

it is aftermarket there are little round black bushings on the back under the rear cover that are wore out. where can i get replacements. also i noticed someone ground dowwn all the points on the shifter star down to the pins exept the neutral. could that be some of the problem.

im also pretty sure it a after market basket just seen a pic of a stock one . and mine looks alot different with long sloted holes in the fingers

ok i just pulled the clutch cover off and the center bolt and nut are loose, and the clutch basket turns1/4 to 3/8 of a inch when the gear behind it stays still. help help i have no manual too look at and want to ride.

i recently bought this banshee i was told it just had a clutch put in it. when im rippin on it i cant up shift very easy in any gear but if i let out of it i can get it to shift. any help would be awsome

what do u want for them cash. i may also have fairly new 28pwk keihin carbs with eveything air box boots cables complete set up. for trade. is that a pj series carb. where in indiana do you live im from auburn in
